Lotusphere speaker and iSeries expert Chris Whisonant has been kind (and smart and industrious) enough to set up a JAMFest Wiki for us to begin to collect stuff for JAMFest 2006. I'd like us to use this to collect LINKS to lyrics (don't post lyrics themselves - we want to avoid copyright issues), chord progressions, etc. As well as early volunteers to play instruments, people who want to "call" songs (for instance, I have first dibs on "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" by the Georgia Satellites and "Devil Went Down to Georgia" by Charlie Daniels - if we can actually play that), etc.

Check it out, and thank Chris for being nice enough to set it up.

Comments

1 - Richard - I'll look at the lead and see if I can do it!

2 - What is the wiki pw?

3 - @Self,

Found it on Chris's blog - "sphere"

4 - I've added some stuff for us old guys. Someone pop over to Gonzo and cross post this stuff.

5 - I've got lyrics/chords for "Keep Your Hands To Yourself". Not that it's hard to fake Need someone better than me for the guitar solo, though. But here's the thing, Rock... you gotta have a wireless mic. This is not a stand-on-stage song. This is a go-out-into-the-audience-and-sing-to-someone song

6 - You give me way too much credit Rocky!! It took me longer to search Google with the right syntax to find a free wiki hosting service.

Hey, if anyone can play fiddle on "The Devil", I have played guitar on it before...
