I announced a long time ago that I was very proud to have earned my first-degree black belt in Choi Kwang Do. Our dojang is Buford Choi Kwang Do, and my sons have been training there as long as I have. Well, after almost four years of dedication, commitment, and training my two boys - Rocky (10) and Tommy (8) participated in their black belt tests last Saturday.

The test was hard - it basically covered everything they had learned over the last four years. The test itself was over 3 hours long, and they worked very, very hard.

They did great - and Debbie and I are extremely proud of them. I have taken a year off from training, but now that the boys have caught up to their old man, I think we will all train together and move forward towards second degree as a family.

Rocky and Tommy will be awarded their belts tonight during the belt ceremony. I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow.

Once again, I am so proud of my two sons - and I congratulate them on their hard work and accomplishments.
