Wow, this has been a busy week so far! Things are going great. I have gotten nothing but congratulations and praise for my move to Teamstudio, and everyone seems generally excited about the possibilities.

I have promised all of the attendees of my sesssions that I would post my slides and example databases, and I have finally gotten them up and posted. Here are the links to each file set:

AD303 - Transforming IBM Lotus Domino Web Apps with IBM Lotus Domino Designer
AD304 - Formula Follies and LotusScript Lunacy - Coding Feats that will Amaze!
AD307 - Advanced LotusScript: Design Programming Using XML and DXL

Hope this helps - more later!

1 - Thanks for the comments and well-wishes folks.

Sumeet - I hope that you can convince the "powers-that-be" that DXL is of critical importance to the community, and that anything short of 100% fidelity on round-tripping of design elements will be viewed as... well, as a letdown.

If you need more concrete evidence of the community's view of how important this is, just say so - we can get you all the input you need.

One thing that bothers me is this - this is a feature that has been released to the public, and is viewed by many is very important; yet there are senior members of engineering and management that minimize the importance of this feature. How can they not support the need for 100% fidelity on round-tripping when you look at it as a released and supported feature/API, and yet it is still "incomplete"? If this were any other feature, it would be given the attention it deserves.

I know I am preaching to the choir, Sumeet, but this is very very important. If I can help you in any way to raise the focus on this feature and its current incompleteness and failure, please let me know.

BR,

Rock

2 - Rocky, I wish you the best on your new venture and think you will provide a huge benefit to teamstuido.

Regards.

3 - Thanks for the files, Rocky, and congrats on your move to Teamstudio.

I was one of the people asking about DXL stuff in the GURUpalooza session. I'm unlikely to be at Lotusphere next year, but will be sure to recommend your sessions (if you do any) to my workmates.

4 - Scott,

I presented a JumpStart on DXL at Lotusphere and you should be able to get my slides from the lotusphere website. My session id is JMP203.

At IBM we are listening to all your DXL needs and we look forward to make more progress on DXL in future releases.

Thanks for bring up DXL at GURUpalozza and to the individual who brought it up at the "Ask the Developers" session as well.

Sumeet.

5 - Rocky,
DXL related questions coming up in GURUpalooza and Ask the Developers session itself was a big step ahead in making IBM aware on how important it is to our customers.
Looking forward to the comments on the new post you posted in your blog on DXL.
Thanks
Sumeet.
