I am very proud to announce that the West Hall Junior Spartans (7-8yr old) are the Hall County CHAMPIONS, including my son Tommy Oliver. Tommy was a starting middle linebacker in the championship game VS the Gainesville Boys Club (7-8) team. The Jr. Spartans played a very tough game, but their punishing defense, exceptional special teams, and pounding offense willed the team to victory with a final score of 13 - 6.
This win closes out the rarest of things in (American) football - an undefeated season. The Jr. Spartans won all of their games this season thanks to the disciplined and effective coaching of Coach Jeff Adams and staff.
Our thanks to Coach Jeff Adams (pictured with Tommy, along with the championship trophy) and staff, and Tommy can't wait to play for him next year.
On a personal note, Debbie and I are very proud of Tommy and the effort he put into his game. He began this season knowing nothing about playing football, earned a starting linebacker spot, and continued to play exceptionally well. We are very proud of you, son - congratulations.
