Bruce Elgort invited me to be a part of his latest Taking Notes podcast - this episode (episode 74) is targeted towards people who are new to Lotusphere, or who are looking for additional tips to make Lotusphere as enjoyable (and worry-free) as possible. As described by Bruce...
Bruce, Julian, Bill Buchan, and Rocky Oliver give you the scoop on going to Lotusphere -- it's next week!!! If you listen real close at the end, you can even catch a few comments by Paul Mooney.

Good information for Lotusphere newbies (how to get around, where to go, what to watch out for) and veterans (Lotusphere Idol, new Jamfest location, new dining plan) alike. Get that yellow blood pumping...

The podcast was a great deal of fun, because it was like a group of friends just shooting the breeze about Lotusphere. I was joined on the call by "Wild Bill" Buchan and the hosts of Taking Notes, Julian Robichaux and Bruce Elgort. We were also joined briefly by admin-and-speaker extraordinaire, Paul Mooney.

The discussion centered around tips for people who are new to attending Lotusphere, but there are some other interesting nuggets - discussion about new Lotusphere events such as Lotusphere Idol, changes being made to the conference organization (e.g. no more separate dining tents!) and more.

So, even though this podcast is targeted towards newbies, I think there is something in there for anyone attending Lotusphere. Go check it out.

Once again, many thanks to Bruce and Julian for inviting me to participate in this podcast - it was a blast!

**Now they show you how detergents take out bloodstains; a pretty violent image there. I think if you've got a T-shirt with a bloodstain all over it, maybe laundry isn't your biggest problem. Maybe you should get rid of the body before you do the wash.

1 - Hi Rocky, sorry to hijack this post. I downloaded and played about with your excellent NOTESurvey database. It was a great help for a project that I was working on. I've expanded upon your original work and added things such as outlines to the DXL, functionality to delete surveys that are no longer used, functionality to export results to excel and given it a nice web front end. I'd like to send you a copy as a means of saying thanks for your help.
